If you are booking on behalf of another person, business, or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

3. Use of Our Website

You agree to use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not misuse the website, attempt to interfere with its security, submit false information, copy website content without permission, or use the website in a way that may damage Auto TintGard or its users.

The information on our website is provided for general guidance only. While we aim to keep information accurate and current, service details, pricing, availability, and product options may change without notice.

4. Quotes and Pricing

Any quote provided by Auto TintGard is based on the information available at the time, including the vehicle type, service requested, condition of the vehicle, and any customer requirements.

Quotes may change if the vehicle condition is different from what was described, additional preparation is required, old tint is harder to remove than expected, or extra work is requested.

Unless stated otherwise, quotes are valid for [insert number] days from the date issued. Auto TintGard reserves the right to correct pricing errors or withdraw a quote before it is accepted.

5. Bookings and Appointments

Bookings are subject to availability. We may require your name, contact details, vehicle details, selected service, and preferred appointment time to confirm a booking.

You are responsible for arriving on time and ensuring the vehicle is available for the agreed service. If you are late or fail to attend, we may need to reschedule your appointment.

Auto TintGard may reschedule a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, staff availability, product supply issues, safety concerns, or other reasonable operational needs.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Before your appointment, you must remove personal belongings, valuables, loose items, child seats where required, and any items that may affect access to the vehicle.

You must tell us about any existing vehicle damage, electrical issues, aftermarket modifications, previous tinting, paint defects, glass damage, or other issues that may affect the service.

Auto TintGard is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left inside the vehicle, unless caused by our negligence.

7. Vehicle Condition and Existing Damage

Some services may reveal pre-existing damage, poor previous workmanship, scratches, adhesive residue, paint defects, glass imperfections, trim wear, or other vehicle issues.

Auto TintGard will take reasonable care when working on your vehicle. However, we are not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, weakened components, poor previous tinting, or issues that become visible during or after the service.

Old tint removal may involve risks where previous film, adhesive, rear demister lines, aged glass, or poor prior installation are present. We will take reasonable care but cannot guarantee that every pre-existing issue can be avoided.

8. Service Results and Limitations

We aim to provide high-quality workmanship and professional results. However, final results may vary depending on the age, condition, shape, glass type, paint condition, previous work, and maintenance history of the vehicle.

For window tinting, minor curing effects such as haze, moisture appearance, or small visual changes may occur while the film settles. Customers must follow any aftercare instructions provided.

For ceramic paint protection and graphene coating, durability and performance may depend on surface preparation, vehicle use, washing methods, environmental exposure, and ongoing care.

For dash cam installation, product performance may depend on the dash cam brand, model, settings, memory card, power supply, and vehicle compatibility.

9. Aftercare Instructions

You must follow all aftercare instructions provided by Auto TintGard. This may include guidance on when to open windows after tinting, how to clean coated surfaces, how to maintain paint protection, or how to use installed equipment.

Failure to follow aftercare instructions may affect service results and may limit any warranty, remedy, or support available.

10. Payments

Payment is due as agreed at the time of booking, quotation, invoice, or completion of work. Auto TintGard may require a deposit for certain bookings, products, or services.

If payment is not made when due, Auto TintGard may withhold release of the vehicle where legally permitted, cancel future bookings, recover outstanding amounts, or charge reasonable recovery costs.

All prices are in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated.

11. Deposits, Cancellations and Rescheduling

If a deposit is required, it will be explained before booking. Deposits may be used to secure appointment time, order products, or prepare for the service.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide reasonable notice. Late cancellations, missed appointments, or repeated rescheduling may result in loss of deposit or booking refusal, where permitted by law.

Any cancellation terms will be applied fairly and in line with applicable consumer laws.

12. Refunds, Repairs and Consumer Guarantees

Our services come with rights and guarantees under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified.

If there is a problem with a service, please contact Auto TintGard as soon as possible and give us a reasonable opportunity to inspect the vehicle and assess the issue.

Where required by law, we will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, refund, or another suitable solution depending on the nature of the issue.

Change of mind, failure to follow aftercare instructions, damage caused by misuse, normal wear and tear, customer-supplied products, or issues caused by third parties may not entitle you to a refund.

13. Warranties

Any warranty offered by Auto TintGard will be explained at the time of service or in written service information. Warranty coverage may vary depending on the product, service, manufacturer, vehicle condition, and aftercare.

A warranty does not replace your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Warranty claims may require proof of purchase, inspection of the vehicle, and confirmation that aftercare instructions were followed.

Warranty coverage may not apply to damage caused by accidents, misuse, harsh chemicals, poor maintenance, unauthorised repairs, third-party work, environmental damage, or normal wear and tear.

14. Customer-Supplied Products

If you ask Auto TintGard to install or use a product supplied by you, we may agree at our discretion. We are not responsible for the quality, compatibility, durability, legality, or performance of customer-supplied products.

If a customer-supplied product fails, causes issues, or does not perform as expected, any warranty or remedy may need to be handled directly with the product supplier or manufacturer.

15. Legal Tinting Requirements

Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle remains compliant with applicable road laws and tinting requirements. Auto TintGard can provide general guidance, but final compliance may depend on the vehicle, intended use, existing glass, and legal requirements.

We reserve the right to refuse work that we believe may be unsafe, unlawful, or unsuitable.

16. Photos, Marketing and Reviews

Auto TintGard may take photos or videos of completed work for quality records, marketing, social media, website content, or portfolio purposes. We will avoid intentionally displaying private personal information where possible.

If you do not want your vehicle photographed or used in marketing, please tell us before the service begins.

Customer reviews, testimonials, or feedback may be used for marketing unless you request otherwise.

We will handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information about how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal information.

20. Disclaimers

Service information on our website is general in nature and may not cover every vehicle, product, or circumstance. You should contact us directly for advice specific to your vehicle and service needs.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights that cannot be excluded under Australian law.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Auto TintGard is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including loss of use, loss of income, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from delays.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability will be limited to the extent permitted by law, which may include re-supplying the service, repairing the issue, or refunding the amount paid for the affected service.

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.

22. Refusal or Termination of Service

Auto TintGard may refuse, suspend, or terminate service where a customer provides false information, behaves abusively, fails to pay, requests unsafe or unlawful work, repeatedly misses appointments, or breaches these Terms.

If service is refused or terminated, any refund or payment adjustment will be handled fairly and in accordance with applicable law.

23. Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern or complaint, please contact Auto TintGard first so we can review the issue and attempt to resolve it promptly.

You agree to give us a reasonable opportunity to inspect the vehicle, assess the concern, and propose a fair solution before taking further action.

If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, either party may seek assistance from a relevant consumer protection body, tribunal, court, or dispute resolution service in Victoria.

24. Changes to These Terms

Auto TintGard may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our website with the revised date.

Continued use of our website or services after changes are published means you accept the updated Terms.

25. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

Any disputes will be handled in the courts, tribunals, or dispute resolution bodies that have jurisdiction in Victoria, unless otherwise required by law.
